We can now reveal the team from Adare and Purple who will be raising money for Movember.
All corners of the organisation will be represented, with volunteers signing up from Mexico, Czech Republic, Germany and the UK to help fund the important work Movember does across the world in raising awareness of men’s health.
Daniel Lora, Stuart Pearson, Richard Hall, Holger Missler and Vit Mikyska are all now clean shaven and will not be shaving their moustache for the month of November. Meanwhile Heather Whiteman will be supporting by walking and running 60k by the end of the month for the 60 men that we lose to suicide across the world every single hour!
Movember funds groundbreaking projects all over the world. According to the charity, men are dying on average six years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons. Unchecked, prostate cancer rates will double over the next 15 years. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among men aged 15-39 years of age.
Adare has a strong track record of supporting charities through fundraising. This includes Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) and the Stroke Association.
You can keep an eye their progress throughout the month on our social media channels, but in the meantime you can help and support them by donating via Just Giving.
