Adare staff, across various UK sites, have donated a large number of Easter eggs to local hospitals to help raise the spirits of children who are going through a difficult time and also to a local foodbank in Daventry.
After an overwhelming response to a request for Easter Egg donations at Adare’s Head Office in Basingstoke, our Client Hub in Hinckley and our Logistics Centre in Northamptonshire, over 150 chocolate eggs were donated!
Laura Welch, PA to the CEO, Adare, delivered eggs to the Children’s Unit at Basingstoke Hospital. She said, “Following generous donations from our staff to a request for Easter eggs, we were delighted to be able to deliver a little bit of Easter joy to the children who will be spending the Easter holidays in hospital.”
Joanna Taylor, Global Account Director, Adare, shared the Easter egg donations, collected at the Hinckley site, with patients at the East Midlands Congenital Heart Unit and Outpatients at the Glenfield Hospital in Leicester. She added, “Staying in hospital over the holidays can be especially tough for children, so we were pleased to donate some Easter eggs to the children at Glenfield Hospital that will hopefully make their stay a little bit brighter!”
Pete Thornton, Logistics Director, Adare, was delighted that the team at the Cavalry Hill site in Weedon, collected and donated over 30 Easter Eggs for children at the Daventry Food Bank as “we feel that it is important that struggling parents are able to give their youngsters an Easter treat.”
At Adare, we are passionate about our wider impact on the local community and charities and in 2019 we will be supporting children’s charities, with each of our 40 international locations joining in the fundraising.
